Our diagnostics are bulk billed, the patient does not pay any fee for the histological investigation, the consultation during the diagnosis phase attracts a fee.
Dr Or is a highly skilled surgical Procedural GP and is qualified to treat melanoma and skin cancers which vary in size and placement. There are a range of treatment options suited to the patients diagnosis and discussed with them so that it can be treated successfully.
Fees for the treatment of the skin cancer are discussed with Dr Or and a Cost Agreement is signed by the patient. The two options are to pay the out of pocket expense or the full fee according to the AMA rates whereby a Medicare rebate is issued on payment. We do not carry accounts and all operations are paid for on the day.
Occasionally if skin cancers are aggressive or seen at a late stage, the cancer can spread and a wider excision is necessary, this is usually bulk billed. We retail Allmedic skin cancer cream which is a doctor only product that has been developed to aid in prevention of further sun damage to skin, and Dr Or recommends Vitamin B3 on a daily basis to help prevent the development of skin cancer.

Dr Or serves primarily as a general practitioner but also offers surgical services for endoscopy, hernia, carpal tunnel, vasectomy in a private hospital setting (Tamara). He also offers surgical intervention for melanoma and skin cancer operations at the surgery in Marius Street, Tamworth and provides specialised surgical procedures for skin cancers such as MOHs, skin flaps, grafts and ellipse excision of skin cancer, laser to treat fungal infections and spider veins. Our histology services are provided free of charge. We also offer cosmetic lesion removal with cryotherapy or hyfrecation, skin peels and needling. We also offer same day appointments for minor cosmetic treatments.
